Starting a New Chapter: Leading Growth in Japan’s Medical Device Industry

On April 1st, 2025, I began a new chapter in my professional journey — joining a company in the medical device sector. It’s a new field for me, filled with opportunities to learn and grow.

What makes this role especially exciting is that the company is still in its early stages in Japan. My first priority is to stabilize and strengthen the local team, ensuring we have a solid foundation for future success. Once the team is aligned and motivated, the next step will be to expand our business footprint and increase brand visibility across Japan.

While there are many new elements — industry, market, structure — I believe the biggest challenge will be people: building trust, developing talent, and fostering a culture of collaboration.
